There's also that "douche Ted" is just kind of annoying to listen to, but he's seldom outright mean to people the way that J.D. can be.

Imaginary hat!
It's definitely worth it for the first two seasons.
Season 3 has some substitutions, but they're of lesser consequence. After that, even the DVDs don't necessarily have the right music - they sacrificed a really important one in Season 4, for instance.
Yes, I never liked that back-track character retool either. I just wish that whole subplot had never happened.
Yeah, and one of the worst things a show can do is try to convince us that its main character can do no wrong.
So many awesome quotes in these two episodes. "su propia 'Whoop-aaaaaaassss!'" is one of my favorites.
Also: "Sweet dancing Jehovah, I've punctured by brain."
If no one else has done it by the time I get home, I will…
The line readings slay me. Especially 401's "Pee, did we hear a little boomski downstairs?"
And to buy exorbitantly expensive props from movies and TV shows he likes.

Well, can't argue with what you liked. I'm glad it hit home for some viewers, even if it didn't work for me.

That's a really good way to put it. There have been a few times they've used Billy on his own, but I can't think of a scene in which Pete did anything of any import without Billy.
I wish I'd gotten the Palemon shirt. The rest this season have been a little too obscure for me to wear.
As far as I know, the Gary-narrated recap of Seasons 1-4 is canon, and he states that "Pete doesn't really do anything but sponge off of Billy."
That would be a fun theory to explore.
Dude, you're blowing my mind, here.
Agreed. Whenever I see something like this on TV, I think about the "sunk cost" problem. Unlike a lot of aspects of a piece of creative work, a brief but dramatic format shift is they couldn't change their minds about (at least, not after buying that custom model of St. Cloud). It might even be that Doc and Jackson…
One of the best trailers of all time. It's a testament to the movie that it wasn't a total disappointment in the face of that trailer.
Zack, I don't get what's with all the St. Cloud hate. I mean, to each his own and whatnot, but I just don't see this supposed annoyingness in his character. I enjoy how his kindly lilting voice belies his sinister attitude, how he's so blunt about his "superpower," his seeminly-unconscious mirroring of everything…
I'd rather see Urbaniak as Rusty, and Rash as The Monarch.
Awww, Sphinx…
