I played the demo and loved this game, however, I just spent a bunch of money on non-game shit (rent, new computer virus software, Halloween booze, etc.), so its either this or Black Ops for me.

Yikes, she looks rough. She's certainly not a Diane Lane all-star. And she's only 53? I'm not surprised, I mean she was always manly. The only reason Tom Cruise was into her in Top Gun was because she reminded him of Goose.

I'm sure that there is a decent movie that could be made about drone pilots, I don't know how it can be done, but then again, I'm not the most creative person ever.

You should at least check them out once, they're pretty enjoyable, so don't write them off as simple nerd-fare. Even though they are.

All the Halo campaigns are pretty good, but I really got a kick out of Reach's campaign. I thought it had great production values, and a cool story. The ending (post-credits sequence) was a really nice way to send off your custom Spartan.

You're right, it is kind of naive of me to think that the developers get any sort of benefits (other than keeping their jobs) if the game sells well.
