I think Louie is supposed to come off as kind of a douche in the heckler scene. That said, if you didn't like the masterful coffee shop thing and are turned off by mean humor, maybe the show isn't for you.

I think I wasn't clear - I'm not saying copyright should expire after 20 years only for artists, it should expire for any corporate holders as well. So rather than the rights to the work reverting to the company at the expense of the artist, the work would enter the public domain.

Artists and the corporate owners of copyright material enjoy guaranteed income streams unmatched in almost any other field of employment. No engineer or construction worker gets a check every time someone drives over a bridge they helped construct, no cardiac surgeon gets a check for every additional year a heart…

I don't think the cousins were any more outlandish than say, Danny Trejo's head on an exploding turtle, even if the explosion scene was a bit goofy.
