You're totally right there. He had no real chance of survival.

When Trystane died, my brother and I simultaneously called him a dumbass. As stupid as turning his back on Obara was, if he had to choose an opponent, he picked the right one. That whip would have been hard to fight with in such tight quarters.
I was sad to see Bitten go, but it ended on a high note. That made me happy. Not many shows get to go out so well.
My little brother and I had a couple of Toxic Crusaders action figures. They were made by Playmates, in the same scale and a similar style to the TMNT figures, so we headcanoned them into the same universe.
I can't imagine anyone having a clash with Nathan Fillion. He seems like he's truly, genuinely one of the nicest people alive.
The bit where Nick is enjoying the clear, starry night was bullshit, not because of its content (it was a lovely moment between the characters) but because, if the military really were napalming all the cities, the sky would be choked with smoke and ash. World War Z had it right and I'm continually disappointed that…
This looks gorgeous. Can't wait to see it.
Man. Talk about a derp moment.
Maybe it doesn't count because they used a different name, but Stone Temple Pilots briefly replaced the in-rehab Scott Weiland with Dave Coutts and put out an album as Talk Show.
I initially confused Sleepers for Sneakers and was briefly excited, then disappointed. A Sneakers TV show would be super fun.
Maybe commentary on this show will supplant Jeopardy! recaps in the comments sections of this hallowed institution.
Here's your friendly reminder that there's a much better zombie show we could be watching.
This has always been my favorite feature here. It's what got me reading this site. Thanks for a decade of snark about shit I otherwise wouldn't care about, Amelie.
So… this turned out to be an April Fools' joke, right?
That led me right down a wiki wormhole.
Looks like Blake's movie career is going swimmingly.
Can't wait. I love what Colter did with Cage in Jessica Jones, so it should be fun to see what he can do when given more room to breathe.
I'm so glad they included canned laughter so we'd know when the punchlines hit. Such a helpful and not-at-all-unwelcome device.
Not gonna lie: I only watched this steaming coil of a movie because it was filmed in Baton Rouge and I love the thought of Nic Cage running around my home city. And yeah, I was hoping he'd elevate that awful script, but he pretty much phoned this one in.
Excellent. I enjoyed this show a lot.
