I prefer the ending they have in the film, though I didn't feel that way at all the first time I saw it. It was only on a second viewing that it worked for me.

I'm always sad that I don't have a friend named Gordon who I could use this on.

He always struck me as bored-to-tears in The Chase, though for me that's one of those movies where the cast is definitely too good to be true.

You don't count Last Tango in Paris? I think that's a pretty monumental performance, and the last time he seemed to care at all about his work.

Yeah, this might require an emergency call-in-sick-to-work. I don't think I can can go to bed without finding and watching this tonight.

Does it come packaged with PCP? That seems necessary for viewing this, as your garden variety drugs likely won't suffice.

The Mexican kids I knew in school could never afford Jams.

I love this movie, maybe my favorite horror movie of the last 15 years. The setting is what sells it—it's just about the perfect abandoned space to set a scary movie in. It's now condos, though part of the original structure still stands.

I was kinda impressed they showed the clip where he smacks her for refusing to drink water. That's a little tough for an Oscar broadcast.

Nah, the kid from Real Genius looks like Rossy de Palma.

Real Genius, mostly because of apocalyptic popcorn.

I love Lazy Line Painter Jane. It's sounds like Phil Spector produced it.

Or Xander Berkeley. The pic above looks like a still from Poison Ivy 2.

Back in bowl!

She's amazing in it but I thought Trintignant was the one who was truly robbed, since he wasn't even nominated. He also has to cover a wider range within the emotional scope of the film, whereas her work is more concretely physical.

Both are messes—3 edges out 4 because even a compromised Fincher film is still pretty awesome. Just don't go in expecting anything like Alien or (especially) Aliens and you may actually enjoy it.

I am a male model, not a male prostitute!

I can't believe that guy showed up for fashion week not even wearing SHOES!

I thought Wensleydale was made up until someone informed me that I was just being an ignorant American. To my credit, if one were to make up a fake cheese, that's a pretty great name for one.

Popplers actually kind of look delicious.
