Its not a dirty word. But D-Bag is perfectly synonymous with douchebag at this point to really either one works.

Pretty good for a bunch of 9 minute songs. Right now really digging the beat to "Pow Pow"… especially the bell flourishes or whatever that is. Murphy has a way of putting beats together that is so hypnotic, I could probably listen to them much longer than their already extended length.

They aren't gonna record "Funeral" again.

I like this album alot
Even if it does seem destined for adult contemporary radio hell. "Evening kitchen" and "neighbor" are just really purdy songs. I actually think the melodies take hold more than on other albums, a problem that kept me liking more than a couple songs on both previous Band of Horses albums.

I like the resonating effect Danger Mouse has left on them of throwing other instruments/sounds into the mix, without overdoing it and emphasis is hardly distracted from the core drum and guitar elements.

I didn't really get the disco reference.. its not a huge departure from Attack and Release at all. I might be in agreement that this is their best record. See me in like 6 months though about that.
