The AV Club
I actually love Dick so much

I don't think that it was comic relief so much as it was understanding that the only reason that Spike had been able to betray them was that they had trusted him and treated him like a person. But he does still kill demons and is generally pretty helpless, so Buffy feels bad about putting him out of his misery, since

I have to say that I feel pretty strongly about it being wrong that Spike wouldn't have attempted to improve himself via resouling for a reason that you underscored in your first paragraph there even, being that Spike's motivations are so much stronger when there's someone that he loves involved.

Whether intentional or not, whether you care to dig for it or not, every work of fiction has a message and a deeper meaning. Often the messages that are conveyed aren't intentional on the part of the author, but that simply adds to the weight rather than taking away from it.

Apparently there was no original character by that name in the book (which I thought I'd have remembered in the murky childhood recesses of the last time I read Ender's Game) and Han Soto is actually the real name of the actor, though his character is credited on IMDB as "Lt. Soto."

This is definitely what I took away from it, at least. Basically, the whole genocide is all Ender's fault for not solving the 'riddle' of the Buggers faster. That dick.

I agree, when are those stupid liberals going to shut the hell up about blatant racism already? I mean, it's already perfectly acceptable like 97% of the time, do we really have to hear people droning on about it and calling people out?

The only thing that I remember from Lorenzo's Oil is all of the piggy back rides that Lorenzo Lamas gives to Jamie Lee Curtis.

And now I want to hear a mashup of Flavor Flav with Coldplay's "Clocks."

I like my coffee like I like my food-metaphor jokes for women on the Internet - at least 20 years old and pretty gross.

Great, now I'm hungry for spammer musubi.

I can't remember where I stole it from on the Internet, but I enjoyed the quote "I am altering your paintings. Pray I do not alter them any further."

I don't remember it from when I was a kid and thought that it sounded pretty interesting, so I went ahead and downloaded a copy and enjoyed it quite a bit for what it was, mostly on the strength of the piece itself and the way that it piqued my curiosity.

SPOILERY SPOILERS OF SPOILOCITY

I swore I just posted this, but it didn't.

I have truly found my Interweb home. You guys. *sniff*

Barneys: Lower cases for the upper classes.

That's the problem with America today, of course. No one else has that brand of bravery and courage that it takes to tell disadvantaged minority groups why they're stupid jerks.

It's good ol fashioned HTML tags, so you go like <b>. At least, I think that should display correctly?

I kinda feel bad for my part in making this happen, but on the other hand, it kinda needed to be said. Plus, I'm really really terrible at letting things go, no matter how blatantly obvious it may be that it's not going anywhere.
