Can we get a "Megalike" button?

I desperately wish I had made that wee joke on purpose.

I'm from Northern California, but currently living in North Carolina.  So…  close enough?  Though I haven't heard anyone use it in a while and presume that it's probably something you're more likely to hear around New Orleans than anywhere else here in the South.

This is the brightest news of the night, imo.  Being able to take on Idol, especially such a coveted demographic, is nothing short of fucking magical.  Score a win for scripted TV!

I'm not 100% sure that I'm with you on that one, just because of the general noir "Every institution is corrupt" message above.  I think that placing the feminists above that and making them nearly unabashed good guys would have been almost oddly out of place, really.

I consider myself a rather devout feminist, but I really don't feel the rage that's coming off of the idea that Claire faked her rape, frankly.  It doesn't feel out of character for the noir-sketch feminists at the school who, like almost all institutions in the Veronicaverse, are drawn in the thick lines of

That's an odd dot to connect.

This is exactly what I turned and said to my fiancee.

You must be watching the show from the most progressive timeline.

Reese Witherspoon is the ONLY woman in Hollywood who has the chops to play Sue Storm.

Add me to the group of folks who think that Nina was perfectly fine in the role.  She wasn't mind-blowingly great, but no one could have been great in that role.  It was meant to be fairly boring.  She's just a stereotypical art school chick who wants to ride the Boreanaz Express.

I actually went and plunked down on the DVDs for myself because it was so hard to pass up.  I couldn't really afford it and I had already pirated all of the episodes along with the commentaries on MP3, but still.  I wanted to vote with my dollars, like the big boys.

This has been my reasoning for quite some time, actually, combined with the fact that I assumed it would be a really stupid Courtney Cox vehicle that was trying to play off of her Friends years.  I would literally cover my ears and yell "LA LA LA" when Cougar Town came on after Modern Family so that I didn't have to

Can't agree more.  This show really blew me out of the water tonight.  I'm a fan as a general rule, but I think that this really catapulted this into one of my favorite things on TV right now.  Just absolutely amazing, heartwarming, and much like sexyoldbag, enough to make me tear up a little.

Honestly, I can't find myself agreeing with the fact that it was out of nowhere.  It helps that I just watched this episode last night with my fiancee and she turned to me and asked "How the hell does she figure out it was Beaver from that?"

This post just ruined or enhanced my next few days, depending on your point of view.

I know I'm late to the party, but I just have to at least speak up for the fact that My Last Day became the moment that I got hooked on Scrubs.  A friend of mine was talking it up to me quite a lot for weeks during the summer before Season 4, and had finally convinced me to download the episodes.  I hadn't gotten

Lord Autumn-Bottom, let us not forget Figsack.  Figsack has mad hands.

I couldn't agree more.  It was so childish and stupid and over the top.  Then it turns out that the whole narrative was created by a stupid child who frequently goes over the top, and all of the stupidity was completely justified.
