As pork'n'beans noted above, there were no big stars in the original "Fame." Irene Cara was the "breakout" star, though her success was short-lived and elusive.

Tim Gunn certainly seems like a quite the gentleman. Surely he will remain successful in all of his endeavors, even after "Project Runway" is forgotten.
