Trying to be slightly critical, I like that they didn't keep Sookie quite as ditzy and accident-prone as in the pilot. I love me some Melissa McCarthy, but… too much.
That being said, I'll echo the sentiment of 'fuck yeah, Gilmore Girls'

No, but Andy Cohen would show up and some old whores in bodycon dresses would throw wine, as is their wont.
Thank gawwwwd.
Is Safran doing an exponentially better job?
Nah, but it's not as grating and they've done their best at somewhat retooling the shite they were left with and unless they, for some reason, make an all Ellis and Leo episode, it seems on course.
…'zat you, Perd?
I didn't know this was a weird way to take pills.
Just means you don't have to consciously swallow it.
I was ill a couple weeks ago and ended up catching up with this show from the Halloween episode, having dismissed it after the first couple previously and found myself really enjoying it. There still needs to be a bit of work done on the Weavers - especially the male Weavers - who are still kind of non-entities, but…
I'm torn between thinking Travis' cardigan was designed for a woman and wanting one for myself.
I think the fact that I could picture Ellie wearing it would dissuade me.
It really was great.
I think I'm in the minority, but I thought there was a dip (not huge, but noticeable) in season 3 that season 4 has done pretty well to get out of and this episode was the best of them so far.
Definitely similar, @Scrawler2:disqus.
It's not quite like losing a Sorkin or a Harmon, but Raising Hope and Cougar Town definitely have a lot of their showrunner's voice in them.
Just saw in last night's What on Tonight that coverage of this might stop?
Low readership?
I started catching up a couple of weeks ago and am getting my way through the first season, but once I'm caught up, I'd like to be able to offer weekly gibberish, 'cause I'm pretty impressed so far.
Yeah, it's like he still had the referential nerdy thing going on, but when we're first introduced to him, he has no morals. Or maybe it's more that he didn't care about the ramifications as long as he got to do his tech-y thing.
All the Ru puns are getting a bit Dean Pelton and I kinda love it.
Oh, I'm not disputing that at all, I was just adding to your probably-accidentally-Flanderised 'singly'.
I was going for a thing…
Completely agree.
It's great that she had her Scoobies throughout, but they should have been inessential at the end and piling on even MORE characters to help was ill-advised.
I get why they went for the 'every potential is now a slayer' thing, it's a nice finale, but I think we should have been able to expect more…
Well @LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus , I've only ever seen him in Angel and Mad Men and he can't act in either of those.
He just has this way of speaking his lines like he's just reading them for the first time.
You're right, @avclub-a171d9b078d8fd668b699188db001042:disqus , I don't think Jasmine was all too well realised and it all got a bit silly by the time Connor was strapping bombs to sports store shoppers, but it was ambitious and exciting.
That's My Dog is the hitchhiker episode, right?
I still feel uncomfortable thinking about that episode; not a pleasant watch.
Every singly-wingly episodiddly-doo?
I actually did that a couple months ago and it was much, much better than I remembered. Still hated what they did with Cordelia - there are other ways around a pregnancy - and Vincent Kartheiser was still the worst actor imaginable, but overall it's pretty decent.
I think Season 7 of Buffy is unfairly dismissed.
The first half of the season is pretty damn good and the Anya-centric episode is one of my favourites from the whole show, partly just for the genius cut from song to sword in chest.
The second half was a bit rushed and cluttered, but not as bad people make out.
The only…
