I think we're looking at the deaths of two more major(ish) characters. Trimming the cast seems like a smart move going into season three. I also think the writers are moving away from utilizing the historical gangsters (Capone et al.), which could be a good thing.
So Jimmy's been rocking that same angsty haircut since before the war.

I predict a Walking Dead with about twice as much action as any other this season, but still too much painful conversation ("This is how I feel" "I am being earnest"). And a Boardwalk Empire with some polio, a strike, and maybe one killing.
