I'm a fan after six episodes. My kids love it too, and I hope it's renewed. There is so much room for growth here, with more guest stars/singers over time. This is a pretty fresh take on a sitcom, and it's a helluva lot better than "Cop Rock." It's got Python-esque potential, and is worth another 8 episodes.
