Baltimore is blessed with two fantastic spots for books and records.
Normal's is more of a bookstore than a record shop, although they do carry a great amount of both, but their book selection, funky walls, Max the dog, etc. Even they make most of their money on Ebay.

The first season of Mighty Boosh (again) Rich Fulcher is great, but it seems like a total retred of their radio series.
And Manhattan Murder Mystery, which was really low key fun, but awesome cinematography and nods to some of my favorite films (Vertigo!).

I agree on both counts, I enjoyed those refined bands, but now that I've been revisiting some of that stuff, I'd like to see what the other options were.

That Rabbits album does sound really interesting.
Like what would have happened if all those post-hardcore bands didn't move to such a streamlined sound (Angel Hair to VSS, Orchid to Panthers).
