Rock 'n' Roll
Brian Cox was amazing in Rock 'n' Roll on Broadway. Amazing performance. One of the best shows I've seen this year.

Saw it
Saw it tonight. Much, much better than I expected. I expected it to be a bunch of simplistic, unfunny weed jokes, ala Cheech and Chong, but it's really funny and I definitely recommend it. James Franco is outstanding.
MAKE ME FEEL ALIVE AGAIN
SMUG ME MORE
Good for you.
Yeah, I meant to write something about it before I hit enter, but it pretty much speaks for itself.
Forces of Nature
Hm
Interesting that the video contains not a single character or scene from the actual movie.
OMD!
"The New Stone Age" remains one of my favorite songs.
Well, amongst the various things Russia has outlawed or stands to outlaw in their return to the Bear, emo strikes me least objectionable.
Whoa
Except for Russia outlawing emo, it was a pretty bad week.
Uhhhh
I have not heard the first bit of controversy about this film.
Another Way of Handling Recasting…
…is to make the new actor's characters superficially related to the original.
MST3K
I don't know if voice actors count, but since you had an MST3K related article today…
Bill got a raw deal
Having now watched the doc and read the interview, I definitely now see Billy's side of the issue. I never got the impression that he was that bad of an individual, although the movie definitely portrays him as such. Not to take anything away from Steve, but it's a shame, I definitely feel for Bill.
…which of course I'm not implying Kurt Russell is in, but would make an surprisingly decent addition to the list.
Kurt Russell is America's Hero
I could watch The Thing everyday for the rest of my life.
Give us your motherfucking briefcase!
It's actually not complete quite yet, I'm reading, and we're still hovering at around 85%, but it's definitely a step toward completion!
Hey, that IS awesome news. Fuck, now you've got me really excited!
