But it's much too sad to write. It's too sad to WRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITE!

And, thank you!

Mitch Ryan was replaced on DS because of a drinking problem, which became pretty evident before his dismissal. Sometimes it was pretty apparent that as he was lurching around the set, he was grabbing onto tables and doorways to steady himself. He also had the busiest hands I've ever seen on a tv show. For the first

There's a pic of Frid and the actor who played Roger Collins in their swimtrunks at the beach. Frid looks pretty soft, but the other guy looked pretty fit.

David Selby was on Falcon Crest and Mitch what's-his-name, who was the first Burke Devlin, was eventually the rich idiot's dad on  - god, that sitcom? You know - his wife was Susan Sullivan? Wacky dummy marries rich uptightie, and hilarity ensues for a few seasons? "Dharma and Greg".

The process was usually referred to as being "taped live", or "live to tape". It was recorded "live", with no retakes (nearly), so there were many flubs, though maybe no more so than any other show of this type from the time. Dark Shadows is just about the only existing example we have, as it was pioneeringly sold to

If you look carefully at the figurine (and why would anyone watch "Carrie" just once?), you'll see that it's not Jesus, but Sebastian at his moment of martyrdom by arrows.

I can't separate Brian Blessed from Dickens' Ghost of Christmas Present. I've never felt the need to try, thankfully, and can't imagine why I would.

OK c'mon. Take away that picture of the kid in the tub with the spaghetti. IT's been there long enough.

Don't be ridiculous, there's nobody breathing down *pant pant* your neck!

Forget the holodeck - didn't the original series once have them accidentally beam aboard Abraham Lincoln and Santa Claus? Or something like that? Holmes and Robocop wouldn't be so bad.

I like parts of it, as do most people. Problem is, while those parts put together would make a pretty decent hour-long episode, there's a whole lot more movie around them. And yes, it's boring.

In Holland Taylor's voice, not that I know or have any idea who that is or why it's relevant, so help me god.

My dvr's all set to record - it better work!

And how the rest of the Batman show hated him, and said so in no uncertain terms.

To be fair, Midler did say at the time that she was probably a little young to be doing it. But still.

Blech. Blech. And I was looking forward to that too, since I loved the show but didn't like the movie. B.L.E.C.H. I had been fairly indifferent to Bette Midler up until then.

I am at least one of those things.

on edit - I think Streisand's the best thing about What's Up Doc, by far. She was even good in that first Fockers movie she was in.
