Only seen the two movies - both were pretty bad, IMO. The tv version from twenty years ago really made me hate Bette Midler.

I kinda hate What's Up Doc, myself. I think it's stupid and phony and not very funny - isn't that ridiculous?
This WOULD have been a FANTASTIC idea twenty years ago (when I think it first surfaced).
Let's hope this doesn't lead to the culmination of those Cher-starring "MAME" threats.
Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh.
Nah.
Sometimes I steal things from AV Club boards and post them as my Facebook status. It's fun! This little exchange is today's selection. Thank you.
Blaine the Train was pretty freaky, for some reason. Yikes.
I'd say very uneven, but the good parts are really really good, and the bad parts aren't too bad. Give it a whirl.
Apparently it's not over. I stopped reading the last last one when Stephen King became a character in the narrative, and I haven't regretted it. I won't be reading the next one unless I hear some really REALLY good feedback on it.
I have to say, though: the image of the library full of captive telepaths being forced to…
I thought the violated ape was so not funny…just pathetic. Maybe if the "ape's" voice were different, and he didn't sound like a very slow human being. Or maybe there was some magic save at the end, which I missed because I turned it off in disgust.
Yahoo Serious Festival
Oh, that's nice.
All I can say is EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually I thought the funniest part was Catherine O'hara's rendition of "Over the Rainbow" - "If dirty little monkeys fly above the rainbow" was hilarious. The whole segment I thought was great, so much so that I had no problem turning it off pretty soon after.
I am sorry I missed Jim Rash though…
RHUBARB RHUBARB RHUBARB RHUBARB!!!!!
AAAAH I missed this episode. I thought "Oh well, no big deal", but reading that commentary from Brick made me laugh out loud at work, not least because I could clearly hear Brick's voice.
I need to write a note on my stomach to NEVER FORGET that The Middle is on Wednesdays.
Well o' course he is.
Gene Hackman hasn't been in a movie since 2003; maybe he just accepted every job before that.
English Patient - YUCK! I had exactly the same reaction as Elaine Benes. I HATED this movie!!! And it definitely would have been worth it to have gotten fired.
Rudd's more than good-looking - he's dead sexy. I think this is funny, but daaaamn if it isn't totally hot too:
Milton Berle comes immediately to mind, and the Marx Brothers (Zeppo was kind of a looker, but a real turkey comedically)
