I watched it when it was new too.  I was 12 and didn't really like Star Wars, but this was obviously so tenuously connected to the movie that it didn't really have any effect on me at all.  As soon as the cheap video credits started I was like "Oh, this is just bad TV".  Good thing I had a book, which would engage me

He might have been in 1978

The flame that burns fastest burns twice as brightly; revel in your time.

Gack…
Also, more like "ONE gentleman-at-a-time".  Ba-dum-ch!

Neckerchiefs?

"Just Shoot Me" also had a character say "Oh I know what you mean, an angry ghost lives in my wet bar".  For some reason, I still think that's hilarious - maybe Wendy Malick just sold that line.  I wish she were on a better show.

The name is like a mirror of Funyun, and it's all in the name of the onion!  Which is great - it reminds me of that episode of Taxi where Alex had to buy the cheapest alcohol for a reception and asked "You ever hear of 'Mary's Vodka'?  It comes in cans".

I'm 45 and have all my hair.  Know what, it's pretty A-OK, especially when I'm counting the ways my life ain't been so well-done. It goes a long way toward balancing out the despair…

Twice, I believe "Cupid" was on, then went away for like a couple years, then returned.

I hate anyone who ever had a pony.

God I hate this guy…I really really do.  I mean, I know that actors have to have the biggest egos, it's part of who they are, but he's always seemed particularly arrogant, even for an actor.

I'm pretty sure he knew enough to have approved Bowie's appearance on his Christmas special, you know?  It's always tempting to think that older performers have no idea who young performers are, but entertainers are probably too competitive for that.

I've bought those seafood snacks - more than once, I think.  I took OnYums to a party once as a gag, and it was a fait accompli.

Actually he didn't even bitch about it THAT much on the commentary for "his" Superman II, though that wasn't his best.  Superman and The Omen, though, are really fun.

Bernadette Peters, well, is all kinds of terrific.

I found all Steve Martin's work before "All Of Me" to be just mystifyingly unfunny.  I was the right age for it, supposedly, I was like 14 when he was HUGE in stand-up, but I still don't know why people were laughing at that shit.

Had you heard it, was he too candid?  They can always cut out the parts they didn't like, rather than nix the whole thing.  Too bad, Donner's commentaries are always some of the best - I can't think of any other reason to re-watch Scrooged.

What's a Tab Hunter?

I'm surprised "Licence To Kill REVOKED" wasn't the final US title of what was released here as "Licence To Kill".

Under The Dome didn't make me angry but…it did stink, even without all the hype about "King's return to form" or whatever.
