The original title of which was "Licence Revoked", which may explain PG's forgetfulness. I mean, in ALL of them he has a licence to kill, but in only one of them is it revoked.

Truly one of my least favorite King books - it's not as bad as Dreamcatcher, but that's faint praise. In fact, let's not even call it praise.
I watched Murphy Brown year after year, hoping/expecting it would get better. I finally realized it never would.
Someone, hell - EVERYone, at least everyone who knows what's good for 'em.
A few years after Murphy Brown ended, around 2000, she was looking very much like (not kidding) Martha Stewart. I don't know what she did after that, but she went back to looking like herself, naturally aging. Very nice, considering that there are some similarly-aged people who've had their own faces procedured out…
If it's so serious, why doesn't it have a serious name? Like meningitis?
My dad especially hated M*A*S*H - he described it as "sarcastic", but to him anything which reeked of wit or cleverness was dismissed as "sarcastic". I still think my family misuses that word.
I found it kind of smug, but not sarcastic.
POSTS, EVERYONE!
Something without quite so much spam in it? (Since nobody else here seems to care)
Well, it's such an obscure root anyway - "abated" - but it should be pretty obvious that "baited" can't be right. Oh well, I'm sure it will be.
"So we were definitely waiting with bated breath."
After reading the posts below, I just have one thing to say: it's spelled "Scorsese". Cmon, if you don't know that from seeing it spelled out at the end of the credits for some of the best movies ever made, it's right there in the headline! LOOK, HERE IT IS! http://www.avclub.com/artic…
This is my favorite post today.
It's good, but please don't be disappointed if you find it very slow. I didn't encounter that reaction much til after I'd seen it (and everyone else had too). I was a little relieved to find I wasn't the only one who was kinda…bored. It's good, though.
I'm probably forgetting something major…but what has Spielberg retrofitted into 3D?
It'll probably never be funny, per se, to most people, but there's something to be said for descriptive. I guess. Thanks for reminding me to be a little sad.
I have to agree, Manhattan is just boring - it's pretty disappointing. I have liked some of the movies since though, especially Christmas Carol (I know that's usually considered the best of the post-originals)
Lol oh, my.
People knew about old things before the internet too but it wasn't as easy.
I took my 10yo nephew and 20yo niece. I was pretty bored much of the time, but I don't know how much of it was due to my worrying that it was boring them. They seemed to enjoy it ok though.
I did think it was aaaawfully slow…holy cow. But decent.
