Winona is 39? Riiiiiight. I'm 45 (almost). Did she really turn 20 in 1991?

I so would have not stayed for all of Star Trek: Generations, but I was with friends. I took a really long bathroom break, though, and when I came back the same thing was happening (crashing saucer).
I walked out on Johnny Mnemonic too! It's not the only movie I've quit during though…now I just go to fewer movies.
Mr Greene that sounds like the "Neuter" version, which you actually could buy at Target (as well as the NC-17 version). I've never seen it but I think it even carried a warning from Waters right on the cover that this wasn't the version you wanted.
For a long time, the reason given was that local newspapers wouldn't carry ads for X or PG-17 movies. Of course I don't know how much water this argument carries now, with the increasing irrelevance of newspaper ads and newspapers in general.
"A Dirty Shame"
Really? "A Dirty Shame" isn't on this list? As John Waters points out, there's NO sex in the movie, just lots of talk ABOUT outlandish sex acts. There is very brief nudity, but in a decidedly non-sexual context.
Weird.
Not only is it overused column, oevure is a misspelled word.
Do you know what "teensy" means?
Aaaaw, man!!!!
Ugh…I live in Arizona, but take some teensy comfort in not living in Maricopa County…
One of the few years when anyone who won would have deserved it, maybe - but I'm glad Cher won. Somehow she's just perfect and unexpected.
That picture of her at the top of this page is gorgeous. I loved her with the streaks of grey in her hair and no makeup - she looked kind of indescribably fantastic that way.
And in case you don't believe me, here's a tame one http://www.orgonebox.org/al…
Oh and forgot to mention that "Sam Jones", who played Flash, had posed nude for Playgirl a few years before that. Way nude. The magazine re-ran the spread (har har!) every few years after "Flash Gordon" came out.
I agree - I love Flash Gordon, and not in a "bad movie" way.
For maximum effect, please indicate that "To write on" is to be sung very loud, and very flat.
Oops. Well that's how I remember the story.
Damn dirty hippies.
Keenan Wynn also was cast as Perry White "Superman". As Richard Donner tells it, he had a massive heart attack on the tarmac at Heathrow (didn't even make it into the terminal), died almost immediately and was replaced by Jackie Cooper. This would be too bad, as he would have been terrific as Perry White, but for…
What about the "The Omen" curse?
Yup.
