I watched The Shield during it's original run, never missing an episode the first night it aired.  About two months ago I started going through the series again starting at the beginning, and it was the first time I had watched the episodes since they first aired.

The best part of that scene was that she caught Dutch of all people, and he just has to stand there uncomfortable as she goes on her rant.

You can also say that on some level, the show is not appreciated as it should be (Sopranos, Wire, ect.) because people see the violence and write it off.

I used to watch this show when it was new and I was in high school.  I could never get my friends to watch it but it was my saving grace when I would come home from my retail job exhausted but in time for a new episode.
