the Dung beetle ..

he did, and Mike told Ed that 'he liked his style' - Mike's had quite a few Lebowski lines, at least 3 …

"well most guys would look past it" - Pablo's the best, what a sweet dude.

he may have been rehearsing the 'you talkin' to me' line in his head whilst gazing into the mirror before offing the Undertaker..

I finished S1 the week before S2 began, and I gotta say I am enjoying S2 significantly more.
The whole subplot with Malvo sending that one guy nuts with blood-showers and fish rain was really weak.
This season has been a lot better integrated.

I would be surprised if Floyd and Milligan were in cahoots; however I have considered the possibility of Milligan and Bear forming some kind of alliance.

I'm going with 'ripple', and I thought maybe it was just an optical illusion caused by all the trees & shadows & white - but I definitely saw something!

I accidently caught something about the Liberian Ebola outbreak on tv last night, it was horrendous and heartbreaking.

I picked up on a couple from the Man Who Wasn't There, too; two references along the lines of 'the more you look, the less you see', which was Tony Shaloub's characters big line of defense as Ed Crane's attorney ..

That's a fair point.
I'd have probably done a Peggy and bailed for California - but yes, Simone had a horribly abusive father (wonder what became of the mother; or perhaps I really don't wanna know!).
Still, given that, she was surprisingly naïve in many ways ..

well you should catch up with Fargo, the whole thing, if you've not already (depending on your tastes of course - though if you can handle Insidious I doubt Fargo will bother you too much) ..

it is; from the final scene with Ed Tom and his father's former deputy (might be his granddaddy's former deputy) .. love that scene, just caught it again on tv the other night ..

different types, but neither were/are blood relatives, and both were/are different ethnicities to that of their employer/surrogate families..

ha now that you say that it actually seems obvious to me (hadn't considered the parallels myself), and Hanzee/Hagen isn't all that much of a stretch!

They're generally pretty nicely integrated.

Ok, that I can get on board with. Definitely.
I've really loved his characterisation this season; he was very much a peripheral character in the first couple of episodes and has steadily evolved as the most-equipped Gerhardt to deal with change and upheaval.
I've been pretty psyched too, as I've always thought Angus

'the Mentaculus'

He's not only in the show, his role has become one of the most pivotal and interesting. I've always liked him too, even his work on 'Thank God You're Here' or whatever the stupid thing was …

Some of 'em are half-wild, and some of 'em are just outlaws …

I see what you done did with the Dodd/dead/Dad ..
