Todd are you joking or actually going to quit? You're one of my favorite critics… tv or movies…. ever. Hope it was a joke.

My favorite actor of all time. No one held the screen like him, at least for me. I refused to believe it when I heard the news. Such a tragedy.

Come on, God is the show's best episode for me.

It's all subjective :) I think Don Draper is a true original. And I think that even though it may use common themes in literature and other tv, it expresses them in a raw and authentic way unlike any other. Same goes for Breaking Bad, even though i agree with you in saying that Mad Men is better for the reason you

Thank you. Exactly.

No. That's actually my whole point. It isn't some realistic drama. That's why I think killing off Brian is wrong. It doesn't fit the show's gloriously ridiculous nature. To have a realistic, tragic death of a main character is just so unfitting. If Macfarlane wants to make the show interesting again, killing off Brian

They can't fucking kill Brian. They just can't. I'm done with Family Guy if they keep that Vinny dog. Hated the way his death was so sudden and tragic rather than meaningful. People can say "that's life" BUT THIS IS FUCKING FAMILY GUY. Brian has been shot several times, burned with a flmae thrower and beaten

I love it. I don't know why all of those things you just named are flaws to you? II don't find that Mad Men is being obvious when it does that. It's just simply accurate.

What happened to the community grade? I used to be interested in what everyone else thought of an episode rather than just the writer.

You're awesome as well. (:

Amen. Well, the two that are currently still running. Breaking Bad was a work of art as well.

ha, you're right. I worded it wrong (:

Respect your opinion, but I disagree, I actually believe that the best episodes of Mad Men are better than BB or Sopranos or Wire. The Suitcase was like the greatest episode of tv I've ever seen. Shut The Door Have A Seat, Far Away Places, Red In The Face, (I could go on.) I rarely saw Breaking Bad or Wire or Sopranos

Todd, I remember on twitter you saying that you love Breaking Bad, but it's not one of the greatest shows of all time for you. I'm just curious, do you think that Mad Men is one of the greatest shows of all time?

I believe it is better than The Wire, slightly better than Breaking Bad, but I'm unsure about The Sopranos. I'm leaning towards it being the better show but I gotta see if it pulls off its final season. I've called Mad Men the greatest TV drama of all time, so right now I'll just stick to that statement.

disagree. i think he would care. one thing that makes his character so compelling is that although he is so unfaithful to her, Don does care and love Betty. He's also calling to see if maybe any of her problems have to do with him. another thing that makes this interesting is even though Don is a secret to Betty and

Always love that moment where Peggy watches the men in the office walk by her, all glancing at her with amusement.

:(

couldn't have said it better. My father says the last 8 episodes of Breaking Bad has made the show as a whole better. And he believed Mad Men was the stronger show for a while. I think it's a bit unfair to judge the difference of 2 of the greatest shows of all time by half a season. If you were locked in to the

"The Wheel." only episode that comes close is "Red In The Face."
"Nixon vs. Kennedy" is a marvelous episode with 2 of the show's greatest scenes, but I'm not sure the episode as a whole matches the brilliance of the other 2.
