I'm so excited for this. I know there will probably never be something similar to Satanic Panic again, but reading the words, "stripped down," and, "of Montreal" without reference to Barnes' performance outfits made me wistful.

The scene where Michael McKean reacts to that awful, formulaic sitcom solidified my love of this episode. I knew the man could act, but it was such a tender and honest moment that I had to reminisce about seeing my own dad guffaw, snort, and slap his knee to the jokes of Home Improvement.

The blind date scene was full of laughs.

I tend to view Dylan covers the way I view Beatles covers: good ones are few and far between. But with Dylan's canon, especially, a lot of artists just tend to really miss the point. I'll submit John Mellencamp's cover of "Like a Rolling Stone" here:
