I thought Danes was amazing here, showing Carrie's brilliance as well as her instability. And kudos to Patinkin. The look in Saul's eyes when he realized that something was really wrong with Carrie—he was just so stunned.

Yes to more Marciano in S2.

Some excellent scenes this week: the meeting-turned-explosion, Carrie's date with Brody that turned into "please don't tell anyone about us," and the interrogation. I certainly expected him to cooperate because they threatened to out him, not because they threatened his daughter's future in the West. This was a

Fawlty Towers, Rome, Farscape and Life on Mars would be great, but my first choice has to be Slings & Arrows.

So it did say VA today instead of USA today? Interesting, though still a bit distracting because they used the distinctive USAT format.

Based on location, I would've just gone with the Washington Post.

I was worried that we'd get another Big Twist at the End, so I'm grateful the writers didn't go there. Despite the odd editing, I thought this was another great episode, with Brody's flashbacks and skype with Nazir, and Carrie's work to find Walker's connection to the mosque.

I know they're dangling the Saul=mole theory, but the scene read to me more that Saul was stressed about Mira and anxious to get back to the situation room. Like someone stuck in a crappy, useless meeting when there's someplace he absolutely wants and needs to be.

Part of Brody's anger is clearly about trying to reclaim his old life as husband and father.

The scene between Saul and Carrie at his house, followed by the breakup scene between Saul and Mira, was one of the best yet.
