Couldn't agree more. Sometimes a mystery is just a mystery. Even in the canon, (admittedly written from Watsons view point) their personal relationship was adjacent to and not always inserted into the mystery itself. Call for a different reviewer I made a few episodes ago still valid

Called it here 10 months ago – Kitty had a baby. Not sure Sherlock is not the father – I've never seen someone look as guilty as he did and we still haven't heard her speak to him about the father. Wouldn't be surprised if she was feeding Joan a line of crap, no matter who the father is.

Kitty will return. She will serve a short sentence for the acid wash and bear Sherlock's child. Whilst in prison, Sherlock and Joan will raise the child.

After actually reading the review – I have to say I'm still trying to figure out why the cornucopia of stinging one liners, passion plays, Morelandesque old school badass, NYPD Blue like Quinn cool, and the simple uses of facial expression doesn't rate this in A+?

Sherona will make it to the season finale (where Daddies) but then he loses her in his grief / relapse.

Obviously Kitty arc was high point except Moriarty (cf my comment above), but I think not showing heist, Joan's fight, Sherona convo is homage to canon. Many of the stories were written (in a late Victorian style) as descriptions of events in witness / storytelling fashion. I get more fun from Sherls playhouse…

Kitty>> Mittens but I must accept that she had a more adoration based love for Sherl and store my shipper desire for her return and gestation. Besides as all female characters do, Fiona will be She's all Thated soon enough, especially since Joan pronounced her pretty.
