No thanks.

I dont know, articles like this make me think, "Caitlyn's mom raised her well, musically." But then I remember that article about Sinatra, and I think you were maybe musically raised by wolves.

Wait until you reach 30 and that girl is married to some guy with a house and a nicer car and you're about to go back to college.

Welcome to Internet Bloggerland. I don't even notice shit like that any more.

Probably took a cab.

No Bob Dylan?

You are in for a treat.

It IS a fully complete story; it ends with Solo sacrificing himself trying to save his son, with Finn and Rey heroically saving each other from the Big Bad, and then being heroically saved by Chewie, and the Starkiller being blown up; everything else is in the anticlimax, setting up the story for the next film. BTW I think it's up on Spotify.

Not iconic.

God, it must be so nice to be a genius "movie buff" who isn't swayed by the sort of garbage us uneducated plebeians are fooled by.

I think the answer to a lot of your complaints can be summed up this way: When the original Star Wars was made, Lucas had no idea if there would ever be another sequel. Whether or not he had nine movies mapped out as he claims (doubtful), he had to make a movie with a completely self-contained story.

Whether or not you wanted a movie molded after A New Hope, clearly every other person on earth disagrees. Especially since Internet nerds have been bellyaching about these prequels for years. TFA is EXACTLY what Internet nerds have been whinging for since Episode 1 opened.

It's easier to imagine this sector of the galaxy as a Banana Republic, with a constant turnover of rebellions and dictatorships, with intermittent periods of peace.

No offense, but Hollywood westerns just may not be for you. Part of their beauty is in the simplicity; the quiet acting so naturalistic it doesn't seem like acting (and believe me, Cooper is acting his ass off in that mvie), the basic good-vs-evil setup that allows it to be a damning allegory, the black and white

So Creed is original, except for when it isn't, and doesn't recreate the first Rocky, except for when it does.

I am also fascinated by drugs. Have any?

"And samurai swords! And big fucking guns! And cool black dudes! And Uma Thurman's feet!" - Quentin Tarantino, writing/masturbating

Goddamn, Dick was a great storyteller but what a lousy writer.

The resistance brings these films to Hitler. Hitler provides the resistance with just enough intel to keep them going so they can continue to bring films to him. He uses this info from our timeline's newsreels (and apparently newsreels from other timelines we aren't aware of yet) to win WWII and defeat his enemies.
