I'm pinning my hopes to this Rasputinian nut:

Awesome.  This may be my favourite.

If this is purgatory I never want to get to heaven!

[please refer to Styles' t-shirt in Teen Wolf for rejoinder]

Why @avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus , fancy meeting you up here on Paul Banks' dick.

"It's funny, from up here all the throats I want to punch look a little like…tiny ant throats."

Oh, well done, sir (or madam).

Congratulations!  Going by your avatar, I'm hoping you bust out the Ferrell-Goulet version of "Thong Song" for her at the reception.  (Please at least consider it, ladies love a bit of crooning at their weddings.)

CS,B:

@avclub-9c3508e704aa16945cf79b05af57848c:disqus , yeah, my 3-year-old ranks somewhere between Netflix and Youtube.  He is intermittently entertaining for sure.  The other day he said to me, out of nowhere, "Daddy, I'm not going to kill you."

True enough.  This attitude - "I believe that I have been personally attacked because I or something I identify with has received (often reasonable) criticism so I feel justified in attacking right back" - is endemic in our culture and politics today and it really shuts down the possibility of rational discourse.

@avclub-230e46d19fe78a6c8dc715659a7188d7:disqus and @avclub-3be42d8a3412057f79af152555e39bd4:disqus  I thought it was a desperately poor underclass from the dustbowls of Oakland, like the Joads in Grapes of Wrath.  Then again, my knowledge of U.S. geography is not the greatest.

Yes.  I unabashedly love that song.

I don't think anyone can do that song justice the way B4-4 did, making it simultaneously sunny and utterly creepy.

Well, Weezer should have broken up after they lost their original bass player.  Does that count?

Seriously, what's with the hate?  I didn't really follow them much after those two records, but those are damn fine albums, and they were a great live band.

Hanging out in the street,
We still ain't got enough to eat.
Underpaid job, tried to picket
Then some Oakies took it.

True.  I think that it places them in a nostalgic context with respect to even their own time period, depicting them as an increasingly outmoded facet of the society they find themselves in (apart from Peggy, whose look at the camera indicates her dissatisfaction with her surroundings).
