Well, he's trying harder because he has a mortgage to pay now. But, eventually, he doesn't have the heart to be forceful with anyone there. And I definitely don't think any of his coworkers respect him enough to listen to him for very long.

I don't think Salo really counts toward the discussion here. This thread is about things that are usually universally accepted as "great works". But for some reason there is usually a minority out there that doesn't see it that way. I think the reverse is true of Salo.
