Can you imagine if Todd VanDerWerff had to review "Space"? Phipps could only write two paragraphs before he had to sign off. How would Todd wring 1,000 words out of that pile of crap?

Honestly, I love Enlightened. But everything I have read about it since its return has shared the sentiment of "THIS SHOW IS NOT GETTING ENOUGH ATTENTION." All I hear is that it's a great show that I'm apparently "not watching." It's getting annoying.

Re: "Fight Club," the "worst" episode of X-Files ever. I am currently watching the series all the way through and just watched this episode last weekend.

I KNOW. I will definitely be watching the next two before Monday's premiere. I haven't been this interested in a show since … ever, maybe?

So I watched the first episode of Black Mirror last night (I'm only 14 months late, leave me alone!). That was an incredible TV watching experience. I've only seen the first one, so please don't share anything about the two follow-ups but DAMN was that good and I just needed to tell someone

Regarding the first stray observation, I feel like it's necessary to mention the amazing fact that Bea Arthur was born 10 months before the woman who played her mother, Estelle Getty, on the Golden Girls.

I've had the pilot of this show on my computer for three weeks now, but I just haven't felt led to press play. I enjoyed Sex and the City more than most, but this just seems like it might be kind of empty. Does anyone ever see this entering the A/A- range?

This was a terrific episode. I watched it several days ago and cannot get it out of my mind. That's very rare for me — usually once the credits roll, I move on and only look back at the truly special.

It's on my list, harrumph.

No, I had no idea. That MIGHT have been part of the problem.

Uhhh, how I have seen every episode of Community and read every review on this site, yet I just found out that's Dino Stamatopoulos who plays Starburns?

The first stray observation says different!

Also, I love that Todd and Genevieve are reviewing this show in tandem. Should be interesting!

I've never followed a series on AV Club before I'd even seen the pilot. I broke that streak just now.

I saw one of those ads too, I think. It made me want to watch it. I think it said something like "It's okay to like this." It made me think of Cougar Town and their transformation from a pretty awful premise to something that transcends its premise. I haven't seen a single second of Neighbors yet, though, so I may be

Not new tonight, Frankie!

Wait, is that Charlie from Girls? I haven't seen the episode yet, but nice move, HBO.

I sometimes read your Work of Art reviews whenever I need a pick-me-up. Thank you/how bummed are you that it was canceled? I needed an all-star season with Young allowing people to write on things and the Sucklord afraid he was going to have his bawls cut off.

Holy crap, redux.

Holy crap.
