Get me a pair of cotton dockers! What's the square root of this apartment? Heh heh heh!

I was not at Lolla in '07, the only year since '05 that I wasn't there. I still hate my cousin for having his stupid fucking wedding that weekend and making me miss Daft Punk. The wedding was not fun, and they are divorced now. So, fuck.

You are all wrong. Aeroplane's disco-fied remix is far superior.

House of Lies is the wooooooooooorst!!!

I saw the Raconteurs play 'Crazy' by Gnarls Barkley at Lollapalooza in whatever year that song was everywhere, '07 maybe? Jack White rocked the shit out of that one

From the first sentence: "The one show viewers had to watch if they wanted to keep up with the cultural conversation." NOOOOOOOOOOOOPE. My eyeroll just now would have made Liz Lemon proud.

As always, Lisa Simpson is the voice of reason

Has there ever been a douchier name than Courtney Taylor-Taylor?

Please, for the love of god, give them a night time slot!!

"Are you being ironic, dude?" "I don't even know anymore…"

Or the Wings classic "Love Take Me Down To The Streets"

Any music festival that puts Mumford anywhere near a headlining slot is no music festival of mine! Let them play their crap in the blazing sun god dammit!

Same here. I resisted for a long time but I am so glad I finally jumped on the Enlightened bandwagon. This is a show that lives in my mind long after I watch each episode.

The great thing about his writing is, for lack of a better word, how 'real' it is. There are moments in each episode where I think, yeah I have felt EXACTLY like that before. It seems like each episode has a fairly simple concept, but god damn they cut deep.

The National - Boxer
Fake Empire and Mistaken for Strangers. Two absolutely beautiful songs.

I saw that pitchfork show also, and saw them at lolla before, and would agree that both shows were pretty blah. But I've also seen them twice at smaller venues and they were fuckin great both times.

What a bunch of nowhere nothin fuckups

Mumford/Guetta actually seems like a really likely pairing to me. It's a sick world we live in.

I will defend De-loused to the death!!!
I can understand the hatred for their later albums, but De-loused is fucking mindblowing. A top 10 album of the 2000's.

They really did a great job showing the different stages of the characters' drug/alcohol binge. The initial excitement and euphoria followed by the brutal comedown and realization of the looming consequences. Just devastating.
