I almost mentioned Lollapalooza '92, too, if only just because I was able to see Lush live. I'm really starting to bring myself down, though, with the number of shows I've seen which are becoming memorable because someone's death means that I'll never be able to see that artist live ever again.

Give MTV time. They'll get around to fucking it up soon enough.

Would that it were viable to Kickstart Misfits of Science back into existence…say, wait a minute, maybe there's still a Next Generation-style concept to be developed!

You want a surprise Radiohead performance? It's not actually by Radiohead, nor is it "Creep," but it's a Radiohead song, and it's performed by a decidedly unexpected group: http://www.youtube.com/watc…

I really did see Tears for Fears play "Creep." Well, the Curt-Smith-less version, but still…

Actually, @avclub-ec26fc2eb2b75aece19c70392dc744c2:disqus, The World of Sid and Marty Krofft did exist. It just wasn't very successful, so it didn't last very long.

If you haven't already, be sure to click on their names in their entry and read the interview I did with them. They're like a vaudeville act.

Oh, hell, I'd rather see him as Sweet Daddy than Eddie Murphy. But maybe we can still slot Murphy into the sequel as Carl Dixon.

Wow, casting directors don't last long at the top, do they? I tip my hat to you.

LeVar Burton can direct, as far as I'm concerned. He didn't do anything to piss me off…unlike Ving Rhames, who knows what he did.

This is the Good Times movie people might actually want to see:

Quiet, you.

…and here's the $5 I promised you for bringing it up.

Yes, but I've already done a Random Roles with Asner. Now I get to pursue one with Hirsch!

I'll address @squillaboxer:disqus here, too: he misspoke, and I did a rapid-fire transcription and honestly didn't even think about it at the time. So I'll take half the blame.

I have a lot of fails on this one, and no one regrets them more than I. But if it's any consolation, I expect his memoir is gonna be a hell of a read when it hits stores, and I'm sure it'll feature anecdotes from all of the stuff I didn't ask him about.

Attended the Williamsburg Film Festival this weekend, a predominantly western-themed event, and was able to meet and chat with Burton Gilliam (Blazing Saddles) and Bo Hopkins (The Wild Bunch), which was pretty cool. On the non-western front, I also met Jimmy Hunt, who was the little boy in the original Invaders from

Love 'em. I still regret that I never saw them live, though. I seriously considered road-tripping up to NYC from Virginia when they did a date on their farewell tour, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

Oh, I'll admit it in a heartbeat. I just don't have many occasions to do so. But I've got every album through 2009's Foot of the Mountain, not to mention Morten Harket's solo stuff, Savoy's Mary is Coming, and…it seems to me I was going to buy Magne F's Past Perfect Future Tense at some point, but I don't think I ever

You know, I would've sworn that I already had Crush on CD - I know that I had it on cassette, and I thought sure I'd upgraded at some point - but, nope, I guess I was thinking of Junk Culture. Anyway, this has proven a perfectly viable excuse to do that upgrade, so I hope to be listening to it (again) by early next
