The best description I've ever heard of BBT is that it's a minstrel show with nerds.

Except for apparently last week, when there was no difference in their interactions, except the reviewer seemed to think that they hated each other and wanted their fiancees to die.

Not that I like "literally" to mean "figuratively," but it honestly isn't a new thing.  History indicates that the word has always been used as an intensifier.  http://hotword.dictionary.c…

Kill Bill.  That is all.

What about Julia Louis-Dreyfuss?  Even if you don't count SNL, you've got Seinfeld, New Adventures of Old Christine, and Veep.

I did indeed forget "Coastline," which was very, very stupid of me. That's a perfect song.

Oh!  We can do playlists?!  YES.

Honeycomb has "I Burn Today," "Strange Goodbye," and "Atom In my Heart" - great country-style songs that rank with the best of his stuff.  I don't know why the rest of the album doesn't work.

No, "Why Bother" is Weezer.  From Pinkerton?

I'm the weirdo who got into Frank Black BEFORE I got into the Pixies, so everything is colored by that.  I first heard Frank cover "Sugar Daddy" on the Hedwig and the Angry Inch covers album, then his cover of Springsteen's "I'm Goin' Down," and I was hooked.  I bought his then-recent Show Me Your Tears and fell in

This review alarms me. Feel however you want about the episode, but the reviewer didn't seem to be paying that much attention to the setup/jokes he was complaining about. Cam hired a bagpiper and a full gospel choir to the fake funeral; I'd call that fairly blinged out. And the kid in the movie theater specifically

I'm gay and even I thought the show moved to being all about being gay and it wasn't fun anymore.  There's an episode in Season 5 that involved Ellen getting a blow-up doll for Joe that played with the sexuality in a funny, somewhat subversive way, but that wasn't all, "I AM GAY, THIS IS GAY."  It was the best episode

I thought the version of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" as something melancholy was fantastic.  I literally don't remember anything else except for when that one dude shouts Jude's name and it made me uncomfortable.

Someone had an issue with Under the Dome, the book, because there are chapters from a dog's point of view? Like in Cujo? Or Eyes of the Dragon? Or Needful Things? Or the Dark Tower books?  It's a King staple.

Here is what he has to say about this.

Wrong. Just wrong.

Jesus christ, it's episode 2.  Do you really think 13 episodes won't mention any of this?  In a crisis, people WANT to believe normalcy will return.  Plus, almost all the people in charge are gone.  This is like tuning into episode 2 of Friends and saying, "Wait, Ross and Rachel aren't together immediately and moving

Every single one of these plot points will be coming up. I'm not sure why you're worried about this stuff the next day.

Almost totally agreed, but would bump Incredibles up.

I'm thrilled about the Friends reviews. It's one of those odd cases where something gets so popular it becomes underrated.  I can't wait.
