Running around, doing things!

I, for one, would LOVE an episode-by-episode look at Voyager.  I think Handlen knows the franchise well enough to know what worked about it (and some of it really did work well), why it fell short, and why some episodes are among the best Trek ever, and much of it … isn't.

This was a perfectly delightful, funny, smart episode of this show.  Not as good as some of the others this season, but a C+?  B+, nothing lower.  The "new" element at the end - whether Leslie is destined for politics - is enough to raise the bar on this, and it shows that the characters are not necessarily the broad

I worry that this complaint hinges solely on the knowledge that that was the case.  People who DON'T know that the wedding episode should have been the last don't seem to perceive any change in quality or intent.  I worry that that's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Gemberling is my new boyfriend.  We can fight over him if you want, but there may be enough to share.

One can use the same characters and have different plots.  Did every Harry Potter book have the same plot?  Did every Toy Story movie have the same plot?  Come on, now.

…and I just got it.

Yet they discuss waste management in like every episode.

As some of us totally are.  Louis CK would be my perfect type even if he wasn't hilarious.

I always found it jarring on Parks & Rec, when Tom would talk about how awesome iPads or iPod touches are.  Which is weird, because (1) I love Apple, and (2) Tom is the type of character who would actually use those brand names.  Conversely, this Target thing was so overly obvious (like 30 Rock's Ikea episode) that it

My husband and I looked at each other during this and said, "Wait, other people just go hang out at Targets, too?"

Wesley from Angel.  Over the course of his time on Buffy, then Angel, he went from being one of the most irritating characters on those shows to being the best character on television.

Dagnabbit, me too!

Quark cross-dresses.  Unwatchable.

"From what I understand from biased reviews, this show usually sucks in these areas, so I'm going to back that up with my first time viewing."  As a columnist, I find this very lazy writing.

Impressed that you know "memeification" is a word and concerned that you don't know "irregardless" isn't.

I think since "Halloween Surprise" they've realized what an asset Donna is.  I want more Donna, all the time.

There have been a lot of perfect Parks & Rec episodes, but "The Treaty" had me laughing the loudest and the longest.  "The only thing I'll be waving is your severed head in front of your weeping mother" is the best thing ever said on television.

Except some of us really like it.

I found this review way off-base.  I watched the episode last night and though, "Oh, THIS is what he meant last week about the two as-yet unaired episodes that are fantastic."  This episode was fantastic.
