Drive-By Truckers have a lot to choose from, but the best is probably "Where the Devil Don't Stay" into "Tornadoes" on The Dirty South (it doesn't hurt that the record has probably the best opening five-pack I've ever heard).

Congratulations on not being afraid to be seen as cliche for some truly terrific answers.  I whole-heartedly support Springsteen, The Beatles, Green Day, and Thompsen.  Great choices!

1. I'm gay and I was into her there.

Especially since old man Private Ryan is remembering all these events that he wasn't a part of.  It's a structurally flawed film.

I was so desperate for it to say, "Currently of."  But alas.

As I said about A Beautiful Mind: it's not a documentary, at all.  It's a fictional film BASED ON real events.

Rabin's lunatic wailings against the show makes me desperately wish that someone goes back and re-reviews those seasons, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine-style, the way they ought to be reviewed and not through some weird personal bias.

Oh God.  Favorite episode of television ever, but MAN is it brutal.

So does this guy.

They covered it in the comments above. He refereed once and did a horrible job. He hired Hibbert and Schermpf because they looked cool, and didn't know why they were famous, just that they were.  Tonight's episode was completely in character BECAUSE of those earlier episodes.

You are the wrongest ever.

Speaking as a gay, I will remove that panic and replace it with Andy Dwyer manlove.

I beg to differ.  Thinking about Paul Giamatti dancing exotically has given me quite the big spike.

And that ignores the official teaser poster, which is fantastic and retro.

"Where Do We Go From Here," from Buffy's "Once More With Feeling" episode.  So clever all the way through, and heartbreaking.

For some reason, Penny's delivery of "This book on Iraq" made me laugh so hard Hamburger Helper came out of my nose.  I rewound and watched again twice after the pain subsided.

I agree.  I first came to The AV Club because of the TNG reviews.  These are keeping me here - they're just goddamned brilliant.

I made the mistake of watching it one afternoon. Alone. It was … not a good decision.
