I've certainly noticed. Some of the writing is just plain bad. I used to read at least four to five pieces a day and now I only look forward to John Teti's SFU reviews. Many of the new writers seem to lack real insight or creativity and confuse "attitude" for having anything interesting to say. See above.

Marry me!

Warm Grey. (I think it's wishful thinking on the part of Nike.)

Interesting thought about orienting your perspective.

Nicholson and Close might actually be able to have a son that looks like Phoenix, or at least talks like Christian Slater.

I don't think Judd Hirsch and Christine Lahti would have a son that looks like River Phoenix.

Oooh! Can we get Aaron Sorkin to write for this show? Imagine the orgy of mansplaining!

Like lickety-split.

If I remember correctly, it was also an epic Brenda mindfuck where she was able to project her own disgust and self-loathing on to the recipient and have him scurry out in shame.

Especially when she's acting out sexually!

Indiana Jones and Those Mouthy Teenagers

Indiana Jones and the Encroaching Darkness

Shut up, Leonard!

Guys, there's only a Tilly's and Hot Topic in my town and my mom won't let me order things off the internet. What do I do? Fuuuuuuuckkkk….

I grew tired of the contrived, self-consciously showy deaths that the writers cooked up as the show went on.

I enjoy this show much in the same way that I enjoy True Blood, in that both are unchallenging summer sleaze to entertain my baser instincts. I don't expect anything meaningful and don't hold them up to any real standards. And the scenes with Bunchy riding his bike were hilarious.

"Swimming Horses"

While George had some nice moments on the show, many of his storylines felt implausibly strained and histrionic in their dysfunction, and seemed like they didn't belong in SFU's universe.

Ryan Reynolds: the thinking man's Taylor Kitsch?
