Not that FC doesn't deliver anyway. The new E's opening shot gives you a good look from every angle and lasts like 30 seconds, which is more than enough.

Sisko could also have gotten the same mind-the-store order Picard did, what with having considerable beef with the Borg.

It would be DS9 season 5, before the Dominion War proper begins.

Isn't that actually a naval thing? Makes it easier to see your screens or whatever?

"Any Nemesis defenders out there?"
Nope. And if I meet one, I will kill him where he stands.

Are you sure you don't have that reversed? You just named the best seasons of TOS and TNG.

True, except he's really on-point in noting how insane Picard's assault plan on engineering is. It makes zero sense except as an elaborate group suicide pact.

Because if you don't draw the line HEAH, there will be no humans left to draw lines.

They don't want you to be able to. I was trained to engage the customer for the upsell. If they can get around you, you don't have a chance.

As a former Borders employee, fuck Borders. What a messed-up company. Their demise is a surprise to nobody.

The Master tries to steal regenerations on several occasions, so it's probably more than just a Time Lord law. The Master wouldn't give a shit.

Honestly, that was how you used to get your money's worth in those days. You can beat Contra or Super C in 20 minutes if you know what you're doing. The relentless death and failure is what keeps you coming back for more.

Zelda II is not that hard by Nintendo standards. If you can handle Castlevania, for fuck's sake, you should be able to take Zelda II.

Between the 2 of them, ME2 and Fallout 3 have made up the vast, vast majority of my gaming time for the last year. ME2 wins for plot and mechanics but Fallout 3 wins for atmosphere. You can just get lost in that one.

Mega Man 1 - I mean, if you die to the clay monster at the end of Wily stage 1, that is not necessarily your fault. I know grown men, hardcore gamers who have been playing Mega Man 1 for upwards of 20 years, who cannot find a way to beat that guy without cheating via the Select trick.

If I was trying to make a video game that would hold up visually in 10 years, the last thing I would aim for is realism. Completely counterproductive in the long run.

Funny we should bring up The Inner Light again, because I think it could have really benefited from some of Frame's disorientation tricks. I might even have liked it. Oh well.

You women's libbers sure know how to party! Hey Betty Friedan, send some of that lotion my way!

I'm from Chicago and I randomly do know who Jim Infantino is.

Or how he singlehandedly destroyed Billy Squier's career (for which we can all be grateful)?
