A show with a more nuanced view of human nature, and a little bit more guts than TNG had in season 1 could have done Hide and Q just fine. Isn't modern TV pretty much built on characters we sympathize with doing horrible things?

I thought I'd just kind of sneak away from this crappy firstie joke, but Chico, you are correct.

It's funny because season 6 is like the Q-ing-est TNG season of all.

When the bad part is the premise, you've got an up-fucking-hill battle ahead of you.

What the hell?
When did this go up?

I'd hope for a full-length cover of Metal Machine Music
except they already made St. Anger

They forgot about two things, his black balls.

Carnal information

No. He tried and died.

So, you know, if you want to tear down some T.S. Eliot or something.

When you call me little buddy
and then hit me with your hat, that's not funny! That hurts!

Any station that plays Creed/Nickelback/Three Days Grace is the worst station in your town, though. That is the worst music ever.

I was an extreme metal DJ f0r 2 years in college and I doubt I could hum a black metal tune if asked.

YOU CAN ACT LIKE A HUTT! What's the matter with you?

Too bad every other show in America had to decide the same thing. I haven't watched an SNL episode since their first one back after 9/11.

Funny part is, gas stations are pretty underpopulated, so you won't take as bad of a karma hit as you'd think. But yeah, you do lose good karma/gain bad karma for hurting civilians. If you kill 1 civilian, you probably have to heal 2 more to make up for it.

The problem is I&I is nothing but a product of gut reaction. Sorkin can usually be counted on to lecture with wit and/or depth, but there wasn't enough time for either. Also, there was no 9/11-type event in the West Wing universe - no major terrorist plot came to fruition other than the assassination attempt in season

Hawkishness later becomes his only personality trait in season 5.

I'm just glad Moffat seems to have forced Gold to tone it down a little. He trampled all over good moments in seasons 3 and 4.

Sure, it fits the philosophy just fine, but that doesn't necessarily make it more fun to play. I loved the original and played it twice, but damn if it isn't more fun to just cut loose with megawatt hammers on gas stations or a line of parked cars.
