sukie, 'pride and prejudice' was victorian chick lit, face it.
You can read all the feminist revisionist criticism of this book you like (i once had to), which seeks to characterize the book as some sort of grand satire of 19th century dating. only it doesn't really read like satire. it reads like plain old 19th

i really can't take this larry david hate.
larry david is my man. like jonny stew and stephen colbert and ricky gervais. they are impervious to haters and criticism. thats just how it be.

PS, I can't watch this show…
and NOT think of "Look big daddy, it's regular daddy!" Really that whole spinoff segment in general.

"Only two types of people in this world. Nawlins' PD and errbody else."
It ends with "Wanna go get some gumbo?" - "Absolutely"

is this a new AVC record for most movie reviews in one day?
DAMN.

"ROCKY" will always be the worst best picture winner
followed by "The Greatest Show On Earth"

for truly amazing insect filming…
…check out my man David Attenborough's tour de force 'Life in the Undergrowth'…pretty much the 'Blue Planet' of the insect world.

Did I mention Still Dre?
Never forget what a hot song that still is. chicka chicka chicka SLIM SHADY! What can I say, I still love it.

Detox…still comin', right?
See now what would that album be? If Aftermath is post-gangsta, and 2001 is post-post gangsta but still gangsta, what is Detox? Post-post, post-still-gangsta? What?

Wasn't there a good 'Ask The AV Club' from a while back that addressed the whole issue of rap album skits in general?
If not, this is a job for my man Nate-Dogg Rabin!

chris martin
He was also on the last track of Jay-Z's Kingdom Come, which is a very poor album, and definitely more dissapointing than this one. It's not that i don't like Chris Martin (although i guess, technically, i don't) but that he has no place in rap. It just sounds awkward, or overreaching. I believe Timbaland

those were prosthetics?!
I'm going to have to second Jordinho's observations on the show's cliche-saturation. It's just kind of a hollow show, by HBO standards. So the sex scenes are more than what networks can show, but the whiny characters seem decidedly on par with anything Greys Anatomy and it's soon-to-be spin

howd you get into arcade fire?
oh, this writer on this website i read posted a youtube video of their song "my body is a cage" looped up over the final scene of "once upon a time in the west." you know, instead of the original ennio morricone song, it was that…yeah, its a really great song. i checked out the album,

Original Screenplay
Here's my pitch: It's about a killer robot driving instructor that travels back in time, for some reason. Also, his best friend is a talking pie. Ron Howard is attached to direct!

i can't be the first person to think of this
the dude in the CHUCK poster, did they go out of their way to cast someone who looks alot like john krasinski or what?!

author?
who wrote this review? just wonderin'.

16 Blocks?
Yeah really, that line stuck out for me too. Was I supposed to have seen that movie by now or something?

my man nate-dogg rabin should write about the most RAPPIN' song of all time!
get rappy with it. heeey. get rappy with it. hoooo.

by the way, can two AV Club writers, maybe Scott Tobias and Steve Hyden, just have a whole crosstalk about Mad Men?
God damn, that show is so fucking good.
