@persia2:disqus , what I love so much is that this show spells out how moral compasses rarely show true north.

I think the reason so many are watching is exactly because the writers are so able to let us view WW from a humanistic perspective, like any great drama/tragedy. Almost every great tragedy unfolds because of a series of decisions that, while made with the best of intentions - or for the sake of preserving a…

"if I can break bad…and Hank can break bad…"
that…is quite impressive. here, let me buy you a drink.
also: "If he dies, he dies." is a line specifically engineered to make Ivan Drago the worst guy in Rocky IV, because he's saying it about a character we've come to know and love in the franchise (yes, I'm going there). SANTA'S WORKSHOP = HANK PAWS TORSOS!
I thought that was goddamn impressive formatting, considering
this is tooootally what I was thinking. Walt! Keep it simple and shrug a little!
I thought Hank was practically salivating over the possibility that Jesse gets killed.
I find this plausible.

how awesome that a show can produce a state of narrative that such a discussion even makes *sense*.
