What is going on with this show? Sooo much potentially interesting stuff and yet by cramming it all into one episode nothing sticks, everything is boring. I am also getting a bit fed up seeing nothing substantial regarding their magical training.

There is something inherently charming about the show, beyond the obvious charms of Tom Eliis. Quite enjoying it all, despite myself. It's filling a hole for now. Like a big slice of vanilla sponge cake (even if you'd really rather have chocolate fudge).
