My college apartment shared a wall with "Baseball House" and it was about as brotastic as you'd expect. Sick of the Monday night parties complete with Bon Jovi and meatheads slamming into the walls, we played this at top volume:

I see your Thong Song and raise you one Glee version of the Thong Song.

S'okay. Your afghan and TV Guide are right here, gramma.

He's long since split into multiple alters.

You mean that show with the bumbling Mountie and the dog named after a Canadian PM was actually shown in America?

I didn't know that; thanks for the information.

Ironic that the porn industry, which in recent years has a good track record of self-regulation, is getting dinged with this and decent financial regulation still can't get passed.

Wikipedia's blackout page also links to an FAQ that's pretty comprehensive. But yeah, one of the reasons I didn't think much of SOPA protest until a few days ago was that all of the people I knew getting all up in arms about it are, well, most aren't what you'd call the freshest beans in the can.

Seeing as they're still looking for about 20 people on the boat, probably not.

Instead of using this data to work towards a more effective business model, studios and labels have decided

This role is the only time I've ever liked a John Ritter performance.

I loved the use of Surrender in this episode. It was a song I always used to listen to with my parents as a kid and it came to represent all that was good about my relationship with them as an adult.

Or, uh, a way of acquiring an American IP address. *shifty eyes*

I'm a young whippersnapper, so I suppose I'm more comfortable with radio/internet news. I would like it to work, don't get me wrong. Too bad the CBS news staff is about as crack as a college newspaper.

The thing is, as you suggested, hard news is also a crowded market. The BBC news is out there, as is NPR. I'd much rather listen to Morning Edition than watch a broadcast news show interrupted by commercials every few minutes. The only time I'll even turn on TV instead is during pledge week. I just don't know if CBS

This was a fun and very knowledgeable recap! Go, Genevieve!

-I need to stop listening to The Bugle in public. Every minute of that episode had me a hairsbreadth from losing it while I was running errands.

-The Hang Up And Listen extra didn't make it in? Not great, to be sure, and I don't really care about college football, but hearing Josh be sad and the other guys piling on

Nicki Minaj is the only one of those not utterly forgettable and even she (or her label) seems intent on sidling off to middling R&B purgatory.
