This is how I feel. I hated, hated, hated this movie when I saw it, but about six weeks later couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful the shots were and how much I loved the way the movie was colored.

The only thing that holds up about The Pillow Book for me is the nudity.Other Greenaway films have held up much better.

You mean Sally Hemmings.

Not to be salty, but it's what my mother said before sending me back up to my room to change.

Wearing sexy mini skirts?
Being self-reliant?

I feel sorry for you.

You forgot the "of cock" at the end there.

Brain..explodes..with..Mormon jokes I could make.

"Let's shoot some guns!" -Aaron Burr

This is the best thing I've ever read on AV Club.

Except Work It is only about crossdressing men, instead of, you know, crossdressing men doing funny things. I do love me some pepperpots and the Girly Drink Drunk.

I read What's On Tonight even though I never watch anything discussed. I am the problem.

I can't believe this actually happened. I keep thinking I'm going to wake up hung over and mumble to my bed partner, "I dreamed there was a show about crossdressing men. And 6 million Americans watched it."

Yes! And he is funny and good, even as the straight man!

For whatever reason, I was allowed to read and watch pretty much everything, but music videos were somehow filthy, terrible things that would stunt my growth. My mother liked Nick and Night reruns too much to ever give up cable, though.

That would be so much better than what is actually being referred to.

I don't get the need for wholesome children's television. When my parents were concerned about what I was watching, they chucked me off to the library.

Responding just to the title:

It's Khloe who's moved to Dallas. I swear I only know that for basketball related reasons.
