Why is that obvious? Maybe Schumer really wants to be on Netflix, and Chappelle won't get out of bed for less than 20 million? Also it's a subscription service, not advertiser supported, so it's not that straightforward to calculate revenue, because it's not just who watches something that matters but who is not

It's more than popularity. It's a negotiated amount. Maybe Chris Rock doesn't need to be on Netflix and can walk away for anything less than 20 million, and Schumer wants the exposure Netflix can bring and can be negotiated down much lower.

This is not an example of "income inequality," unless you believe that literally any female comedian should be paid the same as Chris Rock. Is it "inequality" that Schumer gets paid more than other female comics?

I don't understand why everything is suddenly so rushed, after spending whole seasons watching a character walk from one place to another. The whole story should have been paced better.

He is obviously joking.

He's an advocate for women's rights, but cheated to his wife? That's not nice but it's not hypocritical either, unless you think there's a "right" not to be cheated on.

What happened to "believe women should have the same rights as men? Congrats, you're a feminist?" Is that no longer operative?

I don't think it's as easy to add a new meat to the "chicken, pork, beef" trifecta because society has changed and very few people live with the realities of animal slaughter, so we are stuck with the meats we have chosen to abstract from the animals they come from. More people have had a pet turtle than have seen a

I don't think it's a coincidence that chicken, pork, and beef make up almost all our meat consumption and that these meats are packaged in a way that completely abstracts them from the animals they come from. You can buy a lump of shapeless muscle tissue without making any connection to where it came from, but it's

The Night King mask is really underwhelming. It just looks like a rubber halloween mask.

You can not like Tina Fey if you want, but she is not a hack. That is not debatable. 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt and Mean Girls are all original and high quality comedies. Very few comic talents have done better.

Is that how the Nazis took power? People failed to attend their marches?

"Still, 'not showing up' and 'just ignore them' isn’t necessarily the best strategy for dealing with actual Nazis in the streets."

I find your appeal to authority unpersuasive.

Or maybe you're wrong.

A majority of the city council is black. I do not believe the Durham city government "does not care about black citizens."

His unrelenting dickhead energy works well when directed towards a good cause. He should have done more movies like "Indictment: The McMartin Trial."

Changing public decorations in a municipality with an elected government just seems very easily done via the democratic process. Not so the Vietnam era draft, back when the draftees were 18 and the voting age was 21.

Durham's mayor is black.

They had no representation in parliament, so no legal way to change the tea tax. The democratic process is the preferred alternative to angry mobs.
