An actor in the following decent to ok to good movies:
Not Another Teen Movie
Push
Sunshine
Cellular

I'm just glad because they didn't cast the blonde douche from Cloverfield.

Push
Chris Evans is quite good, and I didn't think I'd like Push as much as I did, but damned if it isn't a fun movie. I've probably watched it 50 times. It's great to put on while doing some research for school or work or gaming on my PC. At any rate, I like this casting choice.

Outlander is a pretty decent B-level movie. It's much more enjoyable than it should be. It really isn't "boring" either. Fuck the haters, check it out.

Bear suit rates skyrocketed after Nicholas Cage wore one in the remake of "The Wicker Man."

I fall just short of calling it great. It's definitely one of the best B-movies to come out in a looooong, looooong time. Jack Huston and Jim Caviezel work particularly well together. Check it out. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed.

I rented a movie called "Ninja" that I thought was "Ninja Assassin" from the Redbox over the weekend. The box art was deceptively similar and I wasn't paying much attention. Needless to say, I fell into the "Non-union Mexican equivalent" trap. I was not amused.

I re-watched Garden State in late 07/early 08 and was surprised by how much I still liked it. I never fell into the backlash trap, and I refuse to. I'm beginning to hate this whole "Nothing popular is cool" sentiment. It's a bunch of bullshit.

Beef McSlabsteak
Rock Punchgroin
Gristle McThornbody
Bob Johnson

The performances in Runaways are quite good. I saw the film yesterday. Like Martian Judge pointed out, it is the formulaic plot that drags the movie down in places.

My favorite decade in music is by far the 70s… Led Zep, Bowie's best material, the best of punk rock by far… I saw The Runaways, and despite the formulaic rock-bio plot, I actually enjoyed it a lot.

Tough Guys don't dance!

I saw her at the Illinois State Fair in 2008 when she opened for Huey Lewis and the News. And she *was* fucking awesome. She also looks fantastic for her age. Damn, the Blackhearts really rocked the house that night. And their cover of "Crimson and Clover?" Awesome.

Stewart was easily the worst/weakest element of Adventureland, a movie which I dearly, truly love.

And I got kicked *out* of school!

I prefer Bob over David too, though they're both hilarious. They also both employ vastly different comic styles. Bob has always seemed more of a writer and David more of a stand-up style of comedian. That's probably why Mr. Show worked though. They pushed their styles together, checked any ego at the door, and it was

Good god Dax Shepard is hilarious in Idiocracy. Perfectly cast, imo.

This episode was a steaming shit-pile compared to last year's season-opener "The Ring."

Too bad it'll probably end up canceled, because the pilot has some potential. I'll be following it along and hoping it ends well.

Mission Hill Influence
Anyone else catch on immediately to the Mission Hill influence present in this show? The thick lines and shape/design of the sky scrapers and apartment buildings particularly scream "Mission Hill" to me. This is not a bad thing at all. Mission Hill is one of my favorite canceled shows of all
