I somewhat agree with Gentle Herpes' tongue-in-cheek Dark Knight bash. It *is* a very long movie with a few extemporaneous subplots and would have been stronger with a few edits in my opinion. That being said, it was still the best blockbuster of the year last year and has cemented itself as a cultural landmark.

I have to say that Watchmen is recommendable with reservations, just as the AV Club said in their podcast. It is an interesting movie to say the least.
