@Shredder — As far as the timing of the obituary goes, it looks like quite a bit of time passed between Locke's murder and the 'funeral'. While John was in the funeral home, Jack told Ben that it had been about a month since he'd seen Locke. So given maybe a couple days between their Locke's hospital visit and his

John Darc is correct, Locke never referred to himself as Jeremy Bentham to Walt. There were a couple of points last night where they got sloppy with the details, which puts a slight damper on my enjoyment of what was a pretty great episode. The other small plot hole was Jack's conversation with Locke. We'd been

My favorite theory floating around is that the Ajira flight doesn't actually crash, but is comandeered by Ben (where was he when the turbulence started and the light hit?) and made to land in 200? on the runway at Hydra Station Island. Not sure how that explains what happened to Jack, Kate, and Hurley, but weird shit

You make me laugh, Geddy. BTW, how do you sing so high?

Yeah, all the dick pill ads on this show make watching it with my children pretty embarrassing.

Captain January — I too thought it was a little strange that there was so little reaction on everyone's part when Des and the O6 converged. I guess they all feel meeting Hawking and possible going back to the island is so momentous that they're overwhelmed.

Re: the Temple(s) — Remember the blast door map? It had a number of points labled 'CV', which I believe were confirmed to mean 'Cerberus Vent'. There were a few of these mapped out around the island. If what we saw last night was one of these CVs, then the 'Temple' station may be a larger structure connected to all

Boston drummer: Sib Hashian, I think. I think he's of Persian or Arabic descent. Massive, massive afro.

Those are good questions. One possible piece of the puzzle is our knowledge that Ben has 'Others' living in Los Angeles, which is, I believe, where Nadia was killed. You're right, Ben was in donkey wheel limbo when the actual killing occurred, but maybe he had some kind of contingency plan in place?

Yes.

The freighter moved closer to make it easier to get the 815ers off the island, I think. I also think some care should be taken in distinguishing between the "barrier" around the island that warped time and caused the time sickness, and the bubble produced by turning the donkey wheel. They aren't necessarily of the

I'm guessing that's not the way it happened. Presumably, Jeremy Bentham paid a visit to Sun to convince the O6 to return to the island. I think this is the only reasonble way for her to pin Jin's "death" on Ben Linus. If Locke did talk to her and knew Jin was alive, surely he would have told her.

According to Daniel's time-travel theory, Rousseau's team always picked up a marooned Korean when they landed on the island. Question: What was broadcasting on the Frenchman's radio as they were reviving Jin? Numbers? Or Rousseau's looped message?

Yes, Sensei, I believe you may be on to something. *Bows*

Lots of people know. Just read above-thread. The answer to both your questions is 'Yes'.

Re: event mirroring from previous episodes — I got the same feeling when Daniel was talking about making the H-bomb components inert. It sounded a lot like what he did in the Tempest station last season.

Isn't Brother Campbell too young to be Farraday's father?

The polar-bears-turning-the-donkey-wheel theory has a problem, though. According to Cuse and Lindleof's commentary on the Season 4 finale from the DVD, the Orchid was built on top of the Donkey Wheel chamber without necessarily knowing what was actually in the chamber. The S5 premiere implies that Chang stopped

Cuse or Lindelof has said recently that Libby's backstory will be told if circumstances beyond their control allow it. I'm not sure what that means, but it looks like they've given themselves an out if that story doesn't get told.

As far as Daniel's not recognizing his mother: It's been established that Daniel has some pretty severe memory issues. I'm going to guess that he has just forgotten what his mother looked like when she was a young woman.
