How are those not synonyms in your mind.

I have heard tell of a powerful magic known by people of your tribe as . . . facetiousness . . .

I saw every episode as it was released! It could be clever, no doubt, but I'd still give the last three seasons of HARVEY BIRDMAN for another episode of BRAK.

It could be funny, but I think of all the original four programs, HARVEY BIRDMAN had by far the worst premise. Once you heard the title, you pretty much had the whole joke.

UNDERWORLD MK1 DOES NOT COUNT

I never knew that, and I use the phrase often. I always thought it referred to the process of first laying down a road - you know, tearing up the weeds and stones and stuff before flattening the area. The more you know!

To each their own. What's the fun if you only read stuff that's like other stuff you like?

I've been in the game for 15 years. I'm an idiot, but I haven't been young in a very long time.

Just jumping in here real quick - DeConnick has said in interviews she hasn't yet seen OitNB, partly because of surface similarities between the show's premise and BITCH PLANET. So, similarities are purely coincidental, yadda yadda.

If anyone is still paying attention, I thought I'd add my two cents to some of these comments.

I would just like to point out how cool it is that in a week without any major big-two superhero reviews, there's a cool and reasonable political discussion in the comments section. That's pretty awesome.
