I used to watch I Love Lucy when I was like six or seven on Nick at Nite so I got into it with no expectations. I just thought it was the funniest thing ever and cried to my mom when Bob Newheart replaced it on the schedule

Lucy is just such a funny character and the performance is just so brilliant that it doesn't matter how dumb the show is generally.
