I understand the importance of theme but don't understand why a good episode of television always has to have a unifying theme across all its plots. Todd seems to deduct points if an episode of a show doesn't do that or otherwise finds some loose thematic link that isn't particularly important or worth focusing the

Everyone reacted basically the same way as Piper when Taystee randomly showed up again. Only Poussey was upset. I also reacted basically the same way because I was so sad when I thought she was being written out of the show.

Yeah I was curious about why they mainly dropped the prison "tribes" and if it was realistic or not

Hannah must be involved…

I'm still unconvinced that the writers aren't going to pull that.

YES! It always makes me sad… I hate when television show characters get *this* close to something incredible happening to them. But, I saw what happened when Roseanne won the lottery…

I still don't understand the Brazilian part

When I first saw that scene and didn't immediately realize Piper didn't have headphones, I assumed the joke was that she's the only inmate who doesn't think Dane Cook is funny (because she watches Mad Men and makes artisinal soaps)

He's not as bad as Laura Prepon who stands out, in my opinion, as the weak link in the cast

Donald, you can't be Spider-Man, but you can be  Mary Jane Watson who has no character traits.

I think Barristan just sassily suggests they melt it down and add it to the throne. I don't think there's actually precedent

"I was angry, I wanted the jewels back, I don't know what happened." - An actual line spoken during a serious scene of Dexter

I liked the episode. I mean, it had the same flaws the show always has: painfully stupid/boring side characters, ridiculous plot devices/holes, shallow themes (gee, I wonder how important brains are gonna be this season), uninteresting serial killer arcs, and beyond tedious narration that explains what should be

I thought it was "I don't care how nice she is"

I couldn't stop laughing at that line - so great and blackly comic

Funniest line ever

But now his career is really shitty again so the joke still works

So, if you had to choose: My So-Called Life or Freaks and Geeks. I think I'd go with the former, but I'm not totally sure.

Or humor is subjective and it just didn't work for you. I don't see why you have to disparage the people who do find it funny
