Why is it that nobody mentions the Master's wonderfully excruciating depiction of brainwashing and cultism, which I thought was its strongest element? I hear a lot about how Freddie's devotion to Dodd makes no sense, but we actually see him brainwashed and, in my opinion, everything in the film only really makes sense
